Royal Caribbean is offering agents the chance to take a 360-degree tour of its latest ship Quantum of the Seas – and all from the comfort of their homes
The new Google Maps Business View of Quantum has been created out of more than 20,000 still images, taken and pieced together over five days.
The technology is available to agents for use on their own online channels, and will be hosted on cruisingpower.co.uk, royalcaribbean.co.uk and Google Street View.
Commenting, Jo Briody, director for PR and marketing of Royal Caribbean International, said: “Quantum of the Seas has been a real game-changer in the market in terms of the cutting edge technology offered onboard and it’s really important that the way we promote it reflects this.
“This offers the closest thing to being onboard.”
Royal Caribbean International initially partnered with Google Maps Business View for its flagship, Allure of the Seas, in July 2014.
At the time, a total of 91,000 unique visitors to the site were recorded in just one day, setting a record for the firm.
