    Business Travel Consultant - Out of Hours Homeworking Are you bored with the 9 to 5 work routine and thinking about doing something a little bit different? Are you an experienced Business Travel Consultant looking to work outside the regular working week? Are you proficient with a CRS/GDS. Do you have other commitments during the day and maybe prefer to work out of hours? JOB DESCRIPTION: Making worldwide emergency travel arrangements for all aspects of travel for clients in the UK. The role involves booking flights, car hire, accommodation, ferries etc. You will be used to following corporate travel policies Application and utilization of preferred supplier deals effectively for each of these last minute priority bookings Resolve a variety of travel related queries ranging from basic amendments, rescheduling to more complex issues. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: -Ability to work in a 24/7 operation, working evenings and weekends -Previous experience within the business travel industry -IT literacy to include use of databases and internet search sites to research and gather information, with knowledge of Must be proficient with at least 1 GDS/CRS -Good knowledge of travel geography and destinations around the world -The ability to cross-sell additional travel ancillaries and card member benefits, for example transfers and lounge access -Strong communication skills to provide a consistently patient, friendly and effective world class service to customers over the telephone -Experience handling high volumes of incoming bookings -English language skills to a business standard THE PACKAGE: If successful, you will be offered a competitive salary along with other benefits associated with working in the travel industry INTERESTED?: To apply for this position please click on 'APPLY' .
