Based at their offices in London: - THE JOB - purpose and role: Reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager, work as a member of a proactive small sales team dedicated to increasing the Airlines market share by promoting its products and services and making sales to meet both departmental and personal targets. -Effectively communicate and sell present products and services to established accounts, selected retail travel management companies and to corporate Business -To ensure excellent market coverage in the allocated region -Interpret revenue data to maximize revenues and identify new opportunities. -Generate new leads and sales through new business -Meet and exceed established sales goals and targets set by Manager Sales & Marketing -Work within the pre-set geographic territory determined by the Manager Sales & Marketing. -When required make telephone sales calls - demonstrating excellent telephone techniques like call control and sales ability. -Update databases and records accordingly. -Maintain a consistently high level of customer service at all times -Anticipate and resolve any problems before they arise to ensure SV image is protected and respond to all incoming calls from customers and assist them to reach a satisfactory solution to their needs. -Distribute mail shots, follow up on /e-commerce e flyers/e newsletters once produced by London Sales & Marketing Department -Update Manager Sales & Marketing weekly on region market trends, issues regarding travel agents -Organise promotional activities -Plan and produce a tactical sales call plan each week with an update of the previous week. Requirements: -Substantial sales and marketing experience gained within the aviation sector ideal but not essential. -Experience of field sales. -Commercial acumen and the drive to achieve goals and objectives. -Excellent communication, organizational and people management skills. -Highly competent IT skills (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and databases. -Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK -Educated to degree or equivalent level.
