    Product and Commercial Executive required for a successful travel company based in Kent. The Commercial Executive will be focused on achieving business profit, revenue and volume objectives by applying an analytical approach and agreed logical interpretation of internal and external data sources. JOB DESCRIPTION: - Focused on implementing pricing changes to drive volume and maximise margins to achieve weekly booking, monthly arrival and profit goals for responsible destinations - Implement agreed pricing strategy based on sales trends, competitive environment, revenue goals and cost of good changes - Conducting competitor analysis in a timely manner, working through competitive issues identified with hotel and air buyers and through margin manipulation - Actively engage with the Commercial & Tactical Manager to discuss and strategise on financial performance and input into actions to address issues - Preparation of regular and ad hoc reporting of business trends to identify and maximise opportunities and suggest actions to minimise threats, implement agreed actions clearly communicating changes made - Operate Price Match policy, and minimise costs to the company - Ad hoc pricing to fulfill brochure, marketing and promotional requirements - Liaison with other teams, including Product Build, Build Resource and Relationship Management to progress the companies needs. - Implementing tactical rate, inventory and margin changes - Regular reporting as agreed for sales, commercial and management - Implementation, review and communication of promo codes, Nonnet discounts and added-value promotions EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: - Very analytical with a questioning proactive nature - A thirst for knowledge and willing recipient of training in new systems and procedures. - Goal and results driven and very self-motivated - Passionate about sales revenue, profit and driving business volume - Strong knowledge of MS Excel and an enthusiasm for detail, statistics and analysis - Extremely organised and capable of working under pressure in a fast changing environment - Excellent organisational ability, accurate with great attention to detail - Be a team player but also be prepared to voice opinion, improve and innovate - Required to be trained to support the call centre taking reservations enquiries during busy periods as determined by the needs of the business. - To support other Teams and areas of the business as dictated by varying needs, as and when required.
