Customer Service Co-ordinator

Location: Greater London Position: Travel consultant

Calling all excellent travel industry customer relations professionals! Our client is a leading luxury tour operator who is seeking a strong customer relations professional with strong letter-writing abilities and the ability to investigate post-travel complaints and queries thoroughly and in a professional manner. If you have customer service experience from a tour operations background and are well versed in handling written customer complaints, then this role will suit you down to the ground.

Our client is a leading luxury tour operator who is seeking a strong customer relations professional with strong letter-writing abilities and the ability to investigate post-travel complaints and queries thoroughly and in a professional manner. If you have customer service experience from a tour operations background and are well versed in handling written customer complaints, then this role will suit you down to the ground.

The main objectives of the role are to handle & resolve complaints within outlined timetables whilst continually focusing on delivering outstanding customer service to existing & returning customers. To identify & improve quality of product & service.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
*Field in-coming calls and respond to customer requests
*Identify, research and resolve customer issues
*Ensure that e-mails, correspondence and customer issues are dealt with in a timely manner
*Follow-up on customer enquiries not immediately resolved
*Report any relevant issues to other areas of the company and / or Sales & Relationship Manager
*Complete logs & reports
*Recommend process improvements

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
*Ability to recognise and fulfil the customers' needs
*Skilled at communicating clearly; both verbal & written
*Empathises with the customer during difficult situations
*Can professionally handle customers; however unpleasant they are
*Has an eye for detail and can work accurately
*Ability to work unsupervised

Note: In addition to the duties set out above, you may from time to time be required to undertake additional duties necessary to meet the needs of the company. Such duties will be commensurate with the responsibilities and grading of the position.
